Both fans and critics call Blackout Britney's best and most influential album of her career. What is interesting about this album is that it was done in a time when no one expected her to be releasing music. During this album, Britney took control of the production and vision of the album. She didn't work with Larry Rudolph or Adam Leber. She was the executive producer and had control over the overall process of the album. This album also had a lot of great very personal tracks written by Britney that describe her life at the time. Here's some of them: Released:Let Go Baby Boy State of Grace Why Should I Be Sad? Rebellion Unreleased:Who Can She Trust Produced by Jonathan "J.R." Rotem, written by Britney Spears. Confirmed on May 16, 2006. "But she shifts gears for "Who Can She Trust," an introspective composition the producer says Spears wrote herself. Over a "snap music" hip-hop beat accompanied by the sound of a camera shutter clicking she sings, "Where am I?/ Where will I find my face?/ Where will I find my faith?" "Cry" - Britney's former publicist apparently said that Britney recorded a ballad titled "Cry" or "Tear". A quote from an apparent interview with a fan site (BritneyExperts) after she was fired stated:
